“You can do anything, anybody else can do; only you can do it better.” (Benjamin Carson: Interview, 2012) This quote stated by Benjie’s mother all through out the movie. In the interview, Ben Carson stated that his mother made him believed that he be anything he wants to be. He argued that he didn’t believe he was special regardless he believed that everyone has the potential to accomplish achievements. Accordingly, the lesson that this movie portrayed is that everyone is capable of doing great things. With the right mindset and direction, an individual can surpass what he thinks he can only do. To think outside the boundaries and limitation of our brain will help encourage an individual to do better not only academically but also it helps
a person socially. It may be a challenge but nonetheless either a person fails or not, it doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is the fact that you did something with good intentions.
