Even though past presidents have been called “fascists” before in my opinion it is fair for Donald Trump to be called a “fascist” leader. Fascism dominated many parts of Europe between 1919 and 1945. Fascist parties all had common characteristics or beliefs like continuous expression of nationalism, strong militarism, sexism, mass mobilization, fixation towards violence, attempts to protect powerful corporations, and strong, new sense of male leadership. Nationalism is the feeling of great pride in ones country and to have a extreme sense of this could start to lead you to becoming a fascist leader. For example Adolf Hitler believed …show more content…
Another characteristics of a fascist is militarism which is the belief of showing the countries power and dominance by using the military to fight people. A third characteristic of a fascist is trying to gain support though mass mobilization. Even though most leaders of other countries do this, fascists try to appeal to the audience emotional side rather then an actual reason. Another belief of fascist leaders is believing the women are not as good as men. The leaders normally believe that women were supposed to do the housework and not have an outside job. They also wanted the women to have as many children as possible. A final characteristic of a fascist is they like to be more violent. They use violence when they do not get want they want or when they want to put order into place. One example of this is the “Klu Klux Klan” who killed African Americans just because they were not white. One of the reasons why Donald Trump is a fascist is because he is extremely sexist. Benito Mussolini was the leader of the Fascist Party in Italy and he had always resisted codifying the principle of fascism, but when the Enciclopedia Italiana requested an article explaining fascism, he insisted on giving his process behind the way a country should be runned. The explanation of the principle of fascism was “The Doctrine of Fascism” published in 1932. Fascism is the idea of giving interest in economic, social, and military power to a dominant race or state lead by one leader. Fascism is used to categorize censorship and oppression. Benito believed in one ruler and all the other political parties were banned in Italy. In Italy everything was made to favor the fascist government. For example, the Justice Department sued Trump’s real estate company twice for not allowing black people to rent his apartments. The company gave different rental terms and conditions to black people that were unfair. The company also lied to them, saying their were no rooms available. During the presidential debates, Donald was asked about those claims and responded saying how an abundance of other companies have done that as well, as if that makes it okay for a future president to do so. In addition, Donald also attacked Muslim gold star parents verbally. Their son had died serving in the Iraq War. After the father gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention Trump said, “ If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.”(Marans, “Here Are 13 Examples Of Donald Trump Being Racist). This remark is racist without a doubt and the effect of these examples are scary. He also accused Hillary Clinton of writing a script for the father which is rude and disrespectful. First, what is Fascism and why is constantly connected with new world order? Fascism is a political philosophy that is led by a dictator that by force and pure fear suppresses the rebellion of this central government. This is what Hitler and his followers believed in as a party. They believed through a strong army and fear they could control and dictate the world. “Fascism denies that the majority, by the simple fact that it is a majority, can direct human society; it denies that numbers alone can govern.” That was a quote from Benito Mussolini: What is Fascism, 1932. What that particular part means is this political party doesn’t believe in a whole, but in fact a individual, one ruler. People or the population have no say in what goes on in the world they live in, there is no voting. A village or worse a country controlled by a Fascist led by a strongly feared imperial leader will order his society around and the people will listen. A dicator never stands alone because he believes in a strong back-hand. What I mean by that is behind every dicator is a large army ready to step in front of any bullet. Benito Mussolini: What is Fascism, 1932 backs this by…

Francisco Franco was the dictator of Spain for over 36 years which was made possible by the Spanish Civil War. Even though he had some of the characteristics of a fascist he was not a true fascist. In order to be a fascist leader you need to have three vital characteristics; an organized political party, a direct ideology and a movement that develops organically.
