Why Is Hitler's Speeches Wrong
From 1918 to 1941 some of the world’s most troubling speeches were made by a man by the name of Adolf Hitler. Hitler was the former ruler of Germany and the Nazi Party. A man that is said to be influential in his speeches to the people, but no one knew the extent of his master plan. His style of speeches have influenced many people. In particular Republican Presidential Nominee, Donald Trump. Many historians can remember how Hitler used his voice and energy to win the hearts of the German people to make them feel as if positive change was to come. He had a style about him that caused the people to think that his intentions were for the good of Germany. Sadly, this truth never came into reality. America is now faced with this same issue being …show more content…

Morally many statements they said would be wrong, but because of the belief and culture of both audiences. It seemed as if it okay to think and feel such hatred towards people. Trump said, “I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.” From that quote given one can understand the reality of ethically how wrong Trump is for making this statement. One cannot discriminate against a certain group of people based off of color, nationality, sexual orientation, or religion. Trump displaces doing this several times. He has the same hatred towards Muslims as Hitler had towards the Jewish people of Germany. One can even look at ethos to better understand both view points as it pertains to Hitler’s and Trump’s views of Jewish, and Islamic people. The atmosphere of the audience of Trump’s listeners shows the effects of today’s current news. Many attacks have been done by people of the Islamic religion. That does not mean that all Islamic people condone of the terrorist attacks. For Trump, he feels that all Muslims should now be excommunicated from the US which is morally wrong, and not becoming of an American President. While with Hitler as stated before, he felt as if all of Germany’s problems were because of the Jewish people. He felt as if they should be eradicated immediately. They both appealed to the culture and mood of their audience through their speeches to gain followers. By the …show more content…

Trump appeals to mostly southern white Americans for his campaign. This is something that is very important to look at. Reason being, one can understand the rhetoric of his speeches more in-depth. Being the fact that many of his followers are southerners there is an educational piece that maybe missing that is needed for Trump’s ideas to be logical and with reason. According to RealClearPolitics.com, “One half of his voters have a high school education or less which is why Trump appeals to that special breed of southern Republican; with a particularly special appeal to Texans.” Trump appeals to people who are uneducated to see how unrealistic his ideas are. Trying to restrict a certain group of people from entering the US because of religion; logically cannot happen. It will automatically go against the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. Which says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” “Prohibiting the free exercise thereof” This is exactly what the constitution protects as it pertains to religion. In America, one can worship, or be a part of any religion he or she chooses, and that the government cannot try to

Donald Trump is the Republican choice and holds views which beforehand were only used as internet jokes, which has led many to initial think he was a joke run for president before he realised he could actually win. He believes that a wall should be built on the Mexican border to prevent people from crossing over without earning a USA citizenship, and also thinks that Muslims should not be allowed into the country in case they are terrorists. Some however think that by “build a wall” actually means he will just increase security, among these are Collan H. who says “Many say that Trump is actually going to build a wall, but he won't.” Many criticize him by saying that he will be persecuting Muslims and that his plan of having a special Muslim…

Although an overall unexceptional German citizen, Hitler did have the ability to appeal to the German people and influence their thoughts and perception of his rampant anti-Semitism. When brought to power in 1932, the German people were well aware of the Nazi party’s anti-Semitic inclinations. They had hoped for moderation, but instead experienced excessive anti-Semitic policy. The persecution of the Jews at the hand of Hitler occurred inconsistently over the pre-WWII era. Hitler stated early on that one goal of his being in power was to address the “Jewish problem”.…

Citizens and other people against this could possibly think that Trump is targeting certain countries related to terrorist groups and local cultures that are “most likely to do something bad”. He most likely feels that this is the best move for the U.S and that something in the areas with the proposed ban is worth doing so. Typically, a president wouldn’t spend time and money to keep people out of this wonderful country. Both separate executive orders are the issue at hand in the headlines, but it is what we plan to do next that will help this…

Starting off as a simple soldier during World War I that ended in November of 1918, he was able to commit one of the greatest catastrophes in human history by ordering the extinction of between 5 billion and 6 billion of the Jewish people during the Holocaust and World War 2, securing Adolf Hitler as one of the most infamous leaders throughout history. If infamy was his goal Hitler has without question gained it. Look through history and pop culture today, he’s referenced through culture along with his political views. An example of this is in Kanye West’s “Flashing Lights” stating “Dang, these [explicit] got me, I hate these [explicit] more than the Nazi”. The reach Adolf Hitler has gained has put him on the brunt end of even the worst of jokes, like the one that goes “Hey, Hitler wasn’t that bad. I mean, he DID kill Hitler” in jest of the reports of him committing suicide to avoid capture by United States…

One of these views are the deportation of foreign people. Trump is talking about deporting people and building a wall at the Mexican border, people are going out of their way to target foreign people with speech as well as violence. If this continues, people from other countries will not want to come to the United States anymore in fear of danger. Trump also talked about making security to get into the country stronger, while making security stronger you are also raising the price to travel abroad. Today more money is spent in the United States by international travelers than anywhere else in the world. The United States is known for being a melting pot of cultures, if that is taken away then why would anyone want to travel to the United States. Many people from other countries dream of traveling to the United States; they should be allowed to visit the United States the same as we are allowed to visit their countries. Charging people absurd prices to leave or enter the country will make tourism unfordable. Other countries may act and close off connections with the United States for example not let us into their countries or stop trading with us, some might also raise their prices to enter their countries which would stop tourism all together. The tourism sector would be nonexistent and many people would lose the ability to see family…

Donald Trump repeats over and over that the illegal immigrants are not only affecting the southern states but also affecting the economy of all of the U.S.A. by taking the jobs that working-class Americans could have. “They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists,” as he said to WJLA-TV in an interview. “We want people to come into our country…legally, legally,” Trump stated. “As president, I would be very, very tough on the borders,” he claimed. He said all of these things contributing to his overall thought on immigration: “These are people that shouldn’t be in our country.”…

Donald Trump has taken his immigration policy to the next level. Instead of focusing on bigger and more prevalent issue he wants to deport all hard working “illegal immigrants” and build a cement wall that costs hundreds of millions of dollars. This is just ridiculous, building a wall makes no sense because that will not stop “illegal immigrants” from coming to the U.S. Forbes says, “Although it cannot be proven, analysts believe the majority (possibly vast majority) of illegal immigrants enter America by air.” This proves that the wall is a big waste of money. The wall will also destroy relations with mexico and hurt our economy. Trump has also issues an immigration ban from seen predominantly muslim countries. Not only is this unconstitutional but it is illegal. “the order is illegal. More than 50 years ago, Congress outlawed such discrimination against immigrants based on national origin. That decision came after a long and shameful history in this country of barring immigrants based on where they came from.” Said the New York Times writer David J.…
