Research Paper On Welding
Welding
¨Don`t be afraid of the future Build It.¨ Welding has taught that nothing is impossible if you work for it. At first I didn't listen to my welding instructor so I didn't learn to weld right. My project ended up not looking right and got a bad score on it. I went back to my welding instructor and learned to weld right so I could make my next project look better. It all started when I didn't listen. First I didn't hold my welding gun right so it wouldn't allow me to make good welds. When my welds got messed up I couldn't keep going because I had to go back and grind them off and retry. Every time I had to go back and re weld my project it wasted wire that I could be using on good better welds. I didn't get the full aspects of welding

The reason I want to go into mechanics is because my brothers and dad inspired me by working on things. When they were fixing engines, I was always asking questions and interested in what they were doing by helping them with tools. I was also intrigued by the grease on my hands, and fixing things that were once broken and making it work and run like new. Now, with my oldest brother going into diesel mechanics, and my middle brother going into mechatronics, mechanics pretty much runs in the family. My dad has inspired me by helping me with my own engines and teaching me what I know now. I also helped my dad fix a wrecked…

So, Tip #2 is to work harder than your competition. Work harder, go farther than they are willing to go, and never, ever, give up. Giving up is simply not an option. The application determines what is good or bad. Generally, any weld is of good quality if it meets appearance requirements and will continue indefinitely to do the job for which it is intended. The first step in assuring weld quality is to determine the degree required by the application. A standard should be established based on the service requirements.…
