Topic: Dr. King Civil Rights Movement
Thesis Statement: Martin Luther King Jr. didn’t like the racism that was happening to African American’s so he took action by organizing boycotts, and by writing speeches, including the “I Have a Dream” speech. He is an example of a turning point because he changed how African American people were treated.

A couple things I would say I have learned during the outlining process; that it takes a lot of work to develop a formal outline. However, what I did learn about Dr. King that I did not know is he authored many books and articles before his death.
