Spiderman is a heroic character that is the main hero in his home town of Queens, New York where he is always fighting villains. Stan Lee has done a great job in showcasing another comic book character that is known to be “The amazing Spiderman.” This comic book character eventually became so well known that merchandise was being made into children books and clothing lines as well. Spiderman is known throughout the world which gives the character a superior name in the comic book section. The archetype that I am doing would of course be hero because everything that Spiderman does is for the good of his city. The character of Spiderman shows the traits that a hero would represent which are saving the world and so on, but these powers make him “The Amazing Spiderman.”
To start off, Spiderman is the nickname that Peter Parker the character gave him because he has the power of shooting webs out of his hand which he can use to propel himself from buildings. The superpower was given to him because he was in a science lab when a spider bit him giving him the ability to shoot webs and making it possible to protect the city. The hero archetype that Spiderman shows brings good fortune for him and the city. He did lose his uncle which started up the super hero act making it his destiny to find the killer from the uncle’s murder and put an end to it. As the hero in the movie and comic books, Spiderman has saved the city by stopping the evil villains that are trying to take over the city. Spider-Man soon found himself facing a rogue's gallery of powerful thieves, gangsters, and megalomaniacs including the Chameleon, the Tinkerer, the Vulture, Doctor Octopus, the Sandman, Doctor Doom, and Electro. The only problem that Spiderman as the hero faces is that he fell in love with Mary Jane which is a bad mistake because the villains are able to use this advantage of stopping him.
