In the workplace for one to perform at the 100%, as they should, they must be in the right mental state of mind as well as have a physical well-being. This isn't always the easiest thing to do when life at home throws you a curve ball it is hard to leave that at home and vice versa work life to the home (Hussain, n.d.). Leaving each where they belong, not bringing them together is harder done than said. Resilience is when you can and have accomplished this all together called stress. When we are stressed over anything we not only let our mental status consume us we let it affect our physically being as well. We don't eat right, can't rest, don't exercise, etc... ultimate success, we have to have a good mental balance of all areas. You must be able to take change well and basically, go with them flow without much setback, or bounce back quickly and quietly to not bring others your state of mind while doing so; coming back stronger (Tugade, 2004).
When you are emotionally in control of your body you can better face life with positivity & optimization, thus being carried over to others in your circles of family and friends.
Spiritually, whatever your beliefs are, they are your principles and values in life. You honor these to give you strength again making you more positive adding to your resilience. In this circle of our world, we have to be socially developed valuing our relationships and friendships, as well as having the backing of a great family where we feel safe and supported. Together these helps us with the strength to survive and have high self-confidence, which is always portrayed on the outside by our walk, talk, expressions, etc... We need all of this in our lives for feedback, discussions, backing us and to move forward in life positively. We feel free to be who we are which in return makes others more comfortable to be who they
are.
Thinking to yourself, have you mastered all these with a great balance? Do you think on a regular basis, how can I improve mine and my circle's well-being ? You can do this just by accepting and changing with our daily lives, being resilient! If life throws you a curve ball, don't duck, take it head on and defeat it by knocking it back with utmost force and self-confidence. How many times have you been able to make lemonade out of life's everyday lemons thrown your way (Tsoulfa, 2012)? Over and over, this again is Resilience!
