Medication List

1. Adderall:
-Indication: Used to treat narcolepsy and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
-Contraindication: Do not use if you have used an MAO Inhibitor such as Parnate, Marplan, or Azilect. And do not use if you are allergic to amphetamine or dextroamphetamine.
-Side Effects: Fast, uneven heartbeats, dangerously high BP, Pain or burning during urination
2. Ambien:
-Indication: A sedative used to treat insomnia
-Contraindication: Do not use if you are pregnant, under the influence of alcohol, have lung disease or sleep apnea
-Side Effects: Irregular heartbeat, trouble breathing, feeling like you might pass out
3. Amitriptyline:
-Indication: Used to treat symptoms of depression
-Contraindication: Do not take if you recently had a heart attack, If you have used a MAO Inhibitor, or have thoughts of suicide
-Side Effects: Heavy feeling or chest pain, sudden numbness or weakness, sudden severe headache or confusion
4. Amoxicillin:
-Indication: Is a penicillin antibiotic that fights bacteria in your body
-Contraindication: Do not use if you are allergic to cephalosporin’s such as Omincef, Can make birth control pills less effective, and do not use if you are allergic to penicillin .
-Side Effects: White patches or sores inside of the mouth, fever, swollen glands, pale or yellowed skin
5. Atenolol:
-Indication: Is a beta-blocker that is used to treat angina (chest pain) and hypertension, can also be used to prevent heart attacks
-Contraindication: Do not take if you have to any kind of surgery, or if you have slow heart beats or heart block
-Side Effects: May feel light headed, slow heartbeats, shortness of breath, swelling of ankles or feet
6. Ativan:
-Indication: Is used to treat anxiety disorders
-Contraindication: Do not use if you are allergic to lorazepam, Xanax, Valium, and do not use if you’re pregnant
-Side Effects: Confusion, Depressed mood, Hallucinations,
