Response Letter To Raquel Goodluck's Story Help Her
This response letter belongs to Raquel Goodluck’s Story “Help Her.” The story is about a girl named Rae being home alone for the weekend, and she is stuck on a very creepy and mysterious situation. The story’s theme involves mysterious around the normal things of us, and the minimum of what we know of our surroundings. The story is very simple to follow and very direct. I believe this is very effective for me, it focuses only in the important parts. As a very direct person, I enjoyed it. I liked how the setting was described between narration and the mother. It works very well when the information is given in different ways. It makes the reader invested more in the story. The last thing that works in the story, is the whole mystery rewarding

This story was very odd but was a good book. The fiction of this story is tied to reality in a very unique way, that is very effective in making the story not feel very fantasy. This feature made the book truly more enjoyable. Other writing techniques like not having any foreshadowing. The book keeps you guessing until the very end. Even within the story parts that I had never seen coming, Like releasing the prince. Allowing Alix to run away and eventually return on curiosity.…

In conclusion, the story was a thriller. I liked how everybody went through so much to cover their tracks. I was not surprised that in the end they got caught because it was pretty obvious with all the mistakes that they make throughout the novel by leaving footprints and personal belongings at the murder scene. I learned that the teachers who are the most strict and have the highest expectations are the ones who can help you. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend because it was very interesting to…

It is a touching story of familial devotion and loyalty. Even though the story feels kind of incomplete, however, there's a message, but one that is not as forcefully implemented or fulfilled as could be. Perhaps the author needed to be more precise and should have included a more extensive exploring into Dew's life and her holding onto the box. That is why the story is a bit disappointing with the way it ends. In my opinion, Dew needed to die. Without her death, the reader is left wondering about the future of the household. Did they get rid of aunt Dew? Was Ruth successful in throwing out the old box? If that is the case, then the mother was made to be more evil than she needed to be. This is nothing more than a glimpse, a short story. The father's story as a boy in the creek could have been fleshed out. Despite the flat ending, fourth elementary students can relate to this inter-generational tale. It is a wonderful way to help children understand aging, amnesia, and physical fragility at the surface. And even though he is a child, Michael has a better grasp of his great-great aunt's need for pride and shows more love and respect to aunt Dew than his mother or father does. It's a good reminder to adults to respect the elderly and not to try changing them into a new person, since they have lived their entire lives based on a certain conception, principle, or even belief an old box, and not to fall…

I felt that the short story accurately gave life to the theme of choice and its consequences while also giving light to different perspectives. As much as I want to stay mad at the father for choosing to abandon his son not once, but twice, I am able to understand him. While I do not excuse or sympathize, I can say that the author is truly remarkable when he is able to show that there is reason behind every decision a character makes. I also favoured the author’s style of storytelling because I find short stories usually a bore, but this is one of the very rare cases where my attention was captivated by the entirety of the story. I yearned to know what was going to happen next and would read ahead to the temptation.…

The only aspect that bothers me a bit is that the story seems a bit jumbled; events that spread years apart are put together in one page, and then a few paragraphs later, the story flies back to third grade memories.I find myself desperately trying to reorient myself, but sometimes I simply cannot and have to reread the whole page.…

The book is told in a circuitous way; I found the jumping back and forth in time a bit distracting, but more off-putting was the way Xeones forecasts an event or subplot before narrating it in detail later. Already knowing how Thermopylae turned out, I was hoping for some suspense in the details, but there too Pressfield tells us the end before getting started on the story…

not to have an abortion. Instead, Freeman says, “I cannot put myself in your place. I cannot tell you what to do. If you need the money, take it. It is a gift.” She believed his conservative ideals would lead him to offer her a partisan, decidedly pro-life option, but when Freeman did not respond in a manner Raquel found agreeable, she struck him in the face. The violence to which Raquel resorted against both Noble and Icon belies the consistent bravery she shows in starting these hard conversations, and the violence also speaks to the simmering anger she feels with her circumstances. Clearly, she is frustrated, lonely and uncomfortable making the life-altering decisions that must be made. Despite her frustration towards these taxing conditions, Raquel continually musters the courage to confront the challenges facing her, and, her antics notwithstanding, skillfully locates the appropriate people who can assist…

Though I get the main purpose of this essay, I don’t really think it has created an effect on me. Part of it is because I cannot relate to the character, another is that I know the narrator too well that I know what is going to happen. Everyone knows what is going to happen. Her personality is so set in stone that the room for interpretation is limited. We all know she is super anxious, worrisome, and over-protective from the way she talks to the audience, the way she thought of another woman over the screen, the way she rolls the stroller on the street. In addition, everything is so crystal clear and evident that there is no much need to go back and flip through the story once again to understand the underlining purpose. The ambiguity element is missing in this essay, thus makes this work less appealing and less effective on…

As a young child, I tended to become ill often. The doctors blamed my weak immune system on the fact that I contracted mononucleosis and was hospitalized for two months at a young age. The consensus was that over time my immune system would improve and I would outgrow any other issues. I continued to get very ill with bleeding sores constantly lining my mouth and throat throughout my elementary schooling. I noticed my condition was drastically worsening as I ended my sophomore year of highschool. I entered my junior year chronically ill. I missed over thirty percent of the year due to being so ill. I went almost all of junior year teaching myself the information my peers were able to learn in class. I became so physically tired that even getting out of bed was exhausting. I was living with such pain that my parents decided to seek the top…

I believe that elderly people should get free bus rides because most elderly people either cannot, or should not, be driving. I believe that getting elderly people off of the road will make the roads much safer. This is also another way to keep elderly people out of car accidents. When the elderly lose their license because there body does not respond as quick as it used to, how else are they supposed to get around? Obviously they can't walk to where they want or need to go, and I do not believe that making the elderly pay every day going to a store in town and going back to their home is right. I believe that free bus rides are completely fair for them. Whenever we get older, and have lived for many decades, I know that I would want…
