Abstract
The research paper is conducted to give awareness to all parties involved in construction industry and to identify the common hazards at site. In construction industry, accidents are likely to occur due to human error, hazards of the surrounding environment, and failure to comply with safety instructions. Generally, safety aspects should be the main priority at constructions site to minimize the accidents. The data were collected using questionnaire that distribute to Selangor and Kuala Lumpur area only. So, further research need to be conducted at other states in order to get more details and precise data.

Introduction
Background Research
The construction industry in Malaysia has embarked on a new era towards the realization of sustainable and progressive construction. In 2007, the government had launched the Construction Industry Master Plan 2006-2015 (CIMP) initiated by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia. The purpose of CIMP is to gear up the Malaysian construction industry towards globalization and competitiveness. It constitutes seven strategic thrusts which encompass the construction value chain. One of the strategies is strategic thrust 3 which is to emphasize on striving for the highest standard of quality, occupational safety, and health and environmental practices.
