Perceptively, I believe that everyone was so engrossed into the revolution that they forgot that the people they question are actually people.
That is exactly how a revolution can go wrong. Moreover, the purpose of the revolution can get done, by hardwork and perseverance. The end result can happen but at what cost? Is killing and torturing people the way to go? Consequently, this has been happening around the world more and more. Such as, native americans fighting off modern day genocide on the border of north and south
dakota. They want to put in a pipeline to get oil, but it is directly next to the standing rock sioux reservation. Which could threaten the tribe's water, land, and irreplaceable historical and cultural sites. After 2 years they set up a protest camp to stop them from putting the pipe line in(Revolution Newspaper,Native americans). Furthermore, revolutions can be nonviolent and violent but they continue to happen, and people continue to stand up for what they believe in.
