The American revolutionary war, the war that started on April 19, 1775. The thirteen Colonies vs Great Britain for the Battle of freedom, independence and the new world. These people during the American revolutionary war helped made the success of the revolutionary war, these people consist of George Washington the general of the continental army that led them to victory, Marquis de Lafayette a french noble that helped the colonies by supplying them with money, supplies and french troops, Baron Von Steuben a German-Prussian General who served with George Washington in the American revolutionary War and is the person that was credited with teaching the Continental Army the essentials of military drill and discipline, and Francis Marion a lieutenant colonel in the Continental army and later brigadier general in the South Carolina Militia during the American Revolutionary War and is well known for his talent in using decoys to disrupt their enemies and their communications.There were a total of 25 battles during the American Revolutionary war but these three battles was the most important ones.
