The Battle of Saratoga began on September 19, 1777; it has been called the most important battle in the Revolutionary War. How the Battle of Saratoga happened was, first the British Generals came up with a plan to disconnect New England from the other colonies by taking control of Albany, the Hudson River, and New York City which would ultimately bring the war to a quick end.

More independence movements broke out across the world for example the Spanish empire was already unstable which was caused by the French revolution.
