During the speech, I think Pamela did a good job on catching the audience’s attention. She did the starting by being humor to get everyone focus on her before she starting her introduction of the topic. She is very organized and clear on her speech by having the things that she need to said separated by different section and did not jumping back and forth. The transition on her speech was very smooth. On every points or facts
that she made, she used an example to support herself to make sure the audience understand her point. One thing that I like was throughout the speech, she’ll pop out her humor to catch attention back in case someone is losing focus on her. The way she delivered her message was also right on point. She gave enough eye contact to the audience, she used hand move moment to expression herself, and speaking very clear without using too much difficult terms that some people might not understand. Additionally, she had sum up her conclusion by doing a quick repeat of the material. In the conclusion, instead of repeating herself again, she had explained her material slightly different but the meaning was the same. This way the listener can refresh the information and at the same time had different idea to look at the material. The overall from planning to deliver the message was very well prepare, organize and clear.
She had effectively connect to the audience and efficiently presented her speech. The biggest thing that I learn from the speech is her preparation and organization. She knows her material very well, because I only catch her looking at the notes twice during the whole twenty minutes speech. Also, supporting the point or information that you present makes the overall speech stronger.
