Logically the seniors, who are in their mid eighties, are incapable of performing the jobs illustrated in the commercial, and the emotional appeal in this ad contains both humor and empathy towards the seniors who must continue to work. The logical fallacy in this commercial is appealing to emotion and plain folks. This advertisement uses humor and everyday seniors doing many different jobs. However, we do not know why they have not retired. For example, they may have saved for retirement, but enjoy working.

The age of the seniors is eighty-five years old, but the other people appear to be in their thirties and forties. There were only black and white races presented in this commercial and most were males.
