Right People Make The Right Organization Case Study
Right people make the right organisation. It is the eyes of leaders that can spot the not so best fit people for the organisation and organisational culture. It is often recognised by gut feeling and to extent performance. Garden often requires weeding and so it stands for the organisation. The not so fit people not only damage the institution but are also wasting their time and skills which could be better utilised where they fit the best. This is a challenging task for the leaders since government organisations have strict rules regards permanent employment and employees have several rights to backfire the leader who may be trying to find the best fit for the person employed.

Leaders often live in glass bowl, where they are not only seen from all angles but also the appearance is magnified, as it happens in the glass bowl. Hence, it is necessary for leaders to have their own 360 degree evaluation and find their own weakness to perform better in future. It is often observed that leaders remain in their comfort zone and let the followers work ‘on the floor’. This attitude needs to be changed to gain confidence and trust of the followers.

Often, the leaders are so focussed on the vision and goals of the hospital that they forget the goals of the individuals. Leaders should make every effort to align the goals of the followers and the strategic direction of the institution. Leaders should not micro manage the people, but certainly micro manage the needs
