Riordan Manufacturing is a leader in the plastic manufacturing industry with employees exceeding 500 and projected annual earnings in excess of $40 million. The company is owned by Riordan Industries, and the company 's revenue exceed $1 billion. Riordan Manufacturing currently has plant locations in Albany, GA, Pontiac, MI, San Jose, CA. and Hangzhou, China. Riordan has established a reputation in the industry for their innovation, profitability, reasonable pricing, quality, and precision. 2. Through research, it was discovered that Riordan compensation rate was not in line with other companies in the industry, employees were not elated by the discovery.
3. Insufficient training and failure to develop employee’s skills made employees incapable of performing assigned tasks. Skill employees were not given the opportunity for advancement.
4. Employee’s efforts and accomplishments were not recognized and rewarded accordingly, which only lead to additional frustration and created distance and an uncomfortable, unstable work environment.
