Rise of luxury tourism in India: Railway experience and Historical Monumental
Abstract: Today, India is home of many beautiful ancient monuments heritage and have historical places. It is attracting lot of tourist to come to India and experience it so it’s becoming most popular tourist destination worldwide for tourist to have luxury vacations and holidaying in india.The concept of luxury trains was derived from royal background which was originally meant for the rulers of the princely states of India like Rajputana, Nizam of Hyderabad and for viceroy of British who were ruling India during Pre independence period. A luxury train gives us an opportunity to experience that royal feeling that one cannot expect in our day to day life. India is a diverse country which has varied history. The various types of monuments which include palaces, forts, and tombs in different historical places in different state of India tell about country’s heritage and cultural history. State of Rajasthan offers many historic grand palaces and forts, which is an integral part of the heritage of India which attracts lot of tourists.

India’s rich cultural history and heritage, food ,monuments , hospitality are positive strengths for its tourism. In today’s world if we see tourism is the most booming sector and has the strong hold on the country’s economy. The increase growth in the tourism sector has been about 230% since 1990 to 2000. It is predicted that the tourism sector could be contributing about US $1.8 billion to the GDP by 2020.In the global scenario India is most diverse country which is having like 26 world heritage sites and it is divided into 25 bio geographic zones.
