Robert Berg, (My dad) is just one of the adults who have had a positive impact on my life. Robert Berg works at Mercy Medical Center as a radiologist (A type of doctor that reads X-rays). He is 50 years old and went to college for 17 years. Despite being 50 Robert still runs, bikes and swims regularly. Robert Berg has been a positive influence on my life since the day I was born because he encourages learning, gives good advice, and is always there for anyone who needs him. The first reason that Robert Berg has been a positive influence on my life is that he has always encouraged learning and going the extra mile when at school. This is proved by the fact that he taught me and my siblings to read before we started school, he taught me and …show more content…

The first piece of evidence is when I moved to Mason City from Omaha Nebraska. I was four at the time and so I don’t remember the whole thing, but what I do remember is that I really did not want to move and my dad, Robert, coming into my room and reading to me and my brother (who also did not want to leave) in order to calm us down. This realy helped me and my brother get of the experience of moving. The second piece of evidence is how my dad comforted me when my team lost a soccer championship. Now, it was only a parks and rec championship when I was 8 but it meant a lot to me at the time. When I lost I was very sad and wanted to quit soccer all together. However, my dad comforted me and convinced me to keep going and now I'm still playing it. The last piece of evidence is that my dad was there for me and my whole family when my grandma died last year. That is how Robert comforting me when I moved, when my team lost a championship soccer game, and when losing a loved one prove that he has been a positive influence on my

My Dad is an extremely hard working person. He is always up and ready for the day before anyone else in my family and He is also the last person up always working on His projects. Just as much of a harder worker He is my Dad is also twice, even three times nicer than. My Dad is the most loving person I know, He has been extremely supportive in all my endeavors in life. He always reminds me of how much He loves me and care for me, He also sacrificed so much of His life to give me a better opportunity. He works selflessly to provide for my brothers and sisters all our necessities and goes the extra mile to ensure that we have everything we need to be successful. He always is there for me when I need Him. He would literally drop whatever He is doing just to hear me rant or if I need a shoulder to cry on. He never belittles me or my problems and insecurities. He constantly reaffirms me of my potential when I feel just like garbage. He is always telling me I am destined for greatness, I am priceless and worth more than the world to Him. Even when I hear Him tell me these things over and over I believe Him because He is extremely genuine. It is actually because of Him that I want to help people with my life. He always told me to never be greedy or money hungry, but that I should use my wealth to help the poor. He never looks down on people in a worse position than Him, He always calls other people our brothers and sisters.…

At first we did not get along at all, but he never gave up on me. He was always there making sure I was making the right decisions and teaching me every painful lesson for making the wrong decision. I remember when I was 14 and I sort of ran away, but eventually got hungry and started riding my bike home. I got about half way there and sure enough he pulled up alongside me in the truck and all he said was “I’ll be waiting for you at home boy”. With only about 2 miles left it took me about 1 hour and a half. When I finally got there he knocked me off my bike and started teaching in his own way. This is by far…

My dad was extremely involved in my life especially when I was younger. I was a daddy’s girl one hundred percent growing up. My dad got me involved in all the sports I partook in. Encouraging me, giving me lessons, and helping me become better in any way he could. My mom was normally just there for moral support but my dad was the one to push me. He encouraged me to be good at anything I wanted to do. My dad played such a strong role in my life, and helped me become who I am today. The influences he forced on me created many of the interests I still have today. I feel as if I would be a different person if he weren’t there while I was growing up. To see the change that one person could have on you is deranged. She was involved in any sport…
