Role Model In Health And Social Care

Lead by example is correct. We often forget that the primary care provider for the patient after they leave the hospital is the family members. If a health care worker who knows benefits of hand hygiene doesn’t practice it, we will not expect the patient’s family and friends to do the same. Health care workers need to realize we are role models to family members; they relied on us to applied and demonstrate proper actions to care for their loved.
