Some may believe that fate and destiny was the cause of Romeo and Juliet’s death. Others may argue that the cause of their deaths were from the actions of the characters in the book. You can even make an argue for both sides and be able to give specific examples for each. Ultimately, I think that Friar John is the one to blame for their deaths. His boss sent him on an important mission to deliver the plan to Romeo and he was playing at some sick guy’s house. Then he failed to ask the people who quarantined him to notify Friar Lawrence of the mishap. So really the blame goes to him and it is not fate nor destiny.…

The Friar is to blame for all of the drama and deaths that went on in Romeo and Juliet. If the Friar wouldn't have married Romeo and Juliet then none of the drama would have began. The Friar shouldn't have given the potion to Juliet, and he shouldn't have lied to the Capulets about why Juliet wouldn't marry Paris. The Friar also shouldn't have gone along with new plans without informing Romeo on what his part was first.…

In the play “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare I blame the reason for their tragedy on Friar Laurence. In the play the Friar married Romeo and Juliet to each other and didn’t inform the Capulet's nor the Montague's. The Friar also tried to help Juliet by giving her a sleeping potion so she wouldn’t have to marry Paris. He also failed to deliver the letter to Romeo saying that Romeo didn’t die, but she was in fact sleeping. “I could not send it here it is again nor get a messenger to bring it thee so fearful were they of infection” (Shakespeare 470). Lastly the Friar had blamed the two lover's death of Romeo and Juliet when both the Capulet's and Montague's had heard of there passings.…

Everything that happens has a cause. This statement also applies to how every murder that happens has a murderer. Sometimes it is the ones you love most that hurts you the most. Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, is an example of that and though there may be guilt coming from more than one person, only one of them plays the biggest part. With that said, the character that plays the biggest factor in Romeo and Juliet’s death is neither Paris nor Friar Lawrence, but instead is Lord Capulet because he cares about only his pride and pushed Juliet to her limits.…
