Prior to the social rejection before or after, school shooters may have psychological problems: depression from being rejected, it’s lack of impulse control or unable to convey how they feel to someone, and thus cause an antisocial behavior. Moving or secluding themselves from being rejected by social peers puts them in a deeper pit. The second risk factor begins with interest of guns or explosives. During their conversation, she was unsure whether or not he was lying, but as their conversation becomes more surreal than how she would usually recognized him. The young girl became nervous since she understand that both of them are going through the same thing together but he wasn’t able to control his anger after being bullied. She reported to her principal, afraid that her friends and her brother will be hurt. As it turns out the two boys were arrested after their confession of bombing the auditorium at a time release. The entire school was swept through for bombs and weapons. As it unravels, prior to their violent act, a young 18 year old boy went on a trip to Columbine without his parents knowing and even talked to the principal there about the time of the event. His large amount of research in creating a mass killing in hope to best the Columbine attack. After this event, it is recognized that police and teachers have become a part of the school culture in building relationship with students.
