Background: The Company (Rusty Lopez) scheduled a meeting last week. They are looking for a web developer and a digital marketing specialist. Ms. Nicole Lopez, daughter of the owner and the head of Marketing Department, created a strategy for the company that will run from October to February. After knowing all their plans and some background of the company like their existing strategies, we came up with different campaigns with the use of mobile and World Wide Web.
Objective: To launch new set of different designs for a limited time. Designs are available from October to February. These will also their basis if they can penetrate their market through the use of limited edition design. On top of this, they are also planning to have a contest that will cater amateur designer of shoes.
Promotion:
Aside from the traditional promotion or advertisement like print and radio, we came up with the following strategies using digital means:
• Website:
Existing – they have an existing website (www.rustylopez.com) but it is static and not enticing at all. We analyze the website and we found out that it is not properly optimize and not even updated. Overall the site is not that ok to be able maximize the full potential of having a website.
Plan – we proposed to create a new site, a dynamic and electronic website. This site will serve as their market place targeting not only Philippine market but also Filipinos in other countries. The look and feel is same with http://www.piperlime.com/. The website needs to be properly optimized by creating the right content and proper tagging. The website is also a content management system that will allow non technical user to make changes on the site after the development. Since the company plans to have a promotion weekly after the implementation of the said plan, the site needs to be connected to other sites
