Sakae Sushi Target Market According to the CEO of Sakae Holding Ltd., Douglas Foo, and also its Assistant Vice-President of Marketing and Communication, Joyce Lee, the company has adopted a mass-market strategy as its marketing strategy in order for the brand to attract a large amount of customers as possible. This would act as a catalyst for the customers whenever they have a thought about Japanese food. By using this marketing strategy, the Sakae Sushi brand is often consumed by both upper and lower tiers of the community but their primary target is often families and adolescent who are looking for quality food without spending too much money on it. This is further supported as most of its branches typically opens within a shopping complex which attracts various amount of hungry customers from different walk of life.
The Sakae Sushi brand has further expanded their target market to the busy workers as they have been introducing delivery service through another company called Foodpanda. This is a relatively new method of their business as it was just launched a few years back. It has only been introduced in two different country which is Singapore and Malaysia.
