Salvadoran Intellectual Analysis

As a Mount pre-nursing undergraduate student, daughter of two supportive parents, with Salvadoran nationality, and with a humble, dedicated personality, I thank God for giving life, guidance, and strength to keep persevering each day to become a better, productive person. I was born in El Salvador but moved to the United States when I was 12 years old. Adapting to a new environment with a diverse variety of traditions and cultures, norms and laws was very challenging; however, I was committed of making the best out of the opportunity that God was handing to me.
I’ve always consider myself a creative, diligent, enthusiastic, and caring person. I’ve always had an interest in helping and positively impacting peoples’ lives. My mother is
my role model, she’s the one that I can count on and who has been there for me offering her unconditional love and support.
Currently, I’m pleased and proud of being at this point of my life, of being a Mount college student pursuing my dreams of becoming a nurse with the purpose of helping and supporting patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to contribute to patients’ well-being.
