Statement Of Purpose To Become A Member Of The National Junior Honor Society

I wish to become a member of the National Junior Honor Society because this prestigious organization, which is an honor to be recommended, is an amazing way to learn, achieve my goals and give back to our community. To be an NJHS member means to be a Leader, have an honorable character, serving your community, and succeeding academically in school. I believe that I have demonstrated in the course of my Baldwin school years these traits and much more. I work hard to get the best grades possible and focus on the studies given to me. I lead my classmates and help them realize answers. I’m open minded and have courtesy toward others. I help out in my community by conducting activities for less fortunate, elderly, and the environment. I respect
Baldwin has taught me to strive to be better, and work hard to succeed academically. In school I'm regularly finding a challenge to prevail from, never giving up, and giving my 120%. Throughout the years you can see how my persistence, and not being afraid of a challenge has led me to achieve honor roll. I listen, think, and try my best to improve in any way. I have always enjoyed learning new things from english, math, science, history, spanish. Furthermore, learning has been a big part of my life, as well as sewing. I have been sewing since I was seven. It was a new challenge, and it was frustrating at times,but now it has helped me in many aspects of my life. I learned to stay alerted and focus on getting the best results. I learned to be determined and patient because sometimes your result isn't what you expected so you must reflect, and start over in a different approach until you get to perfection. It is my hope that this school year I will be starting a club called Needlecraft club. I will be working with the students to teach them the basics of sewing, and designing
I help the students decide decisions that need to be made, for example, when it comes to presenting the themes I help others know where they're supposed to be in the stage, help them with there performs, the timing, and the music to be chosen. Also, I coordinate meetings so that we can all be prepared, and cheer them on. I consider myself to be a helpful, energetic person that can bring a lot to the NJHS organization.
