Bailey also does a lot of things behind the scene, besides counseling/ working with kids. In his spare time, he does Student Services (Relationship building/mentoring), Summer Program Implementation (Develop and implement workshops, field trips, weekend activities, and other workshops or activities), Student Recruitment and Selection (Work with guidance counselors at 18 high schools and community-based organizations to identify and nominate students annually), and more. Work can become very stressful/busy for Mr. Bailey, though he does love his job there are ups and downs that go along with it. For example, seasons are busy, late nights/weekends, which leads to him dealing with crises. I commend him because he deals with these hard situations really well. It made me think about is this something that I am going to have to look forward to? If this is the case, he led by example by showing me how to be a professional when times are stressful. Mr. Bailey states that his plans usually help hold the students accountable for their actions. This consisted with the amount of time that it takes for him to do his plans. Stated by Dean, it takes him approximately an hour per student depending on their needs. He also states that, his plans are updated a few times a
