Sardeson Racing, Inc. is located in Tornado Alley, which is an area of the United States that sees a large volume of tornadoes within a given year. Along with towards, this part of the country also can experience hail and strong winds. All of these things together can create physical and economic damages if a business is not prepared for them. Luckily, Sardeson Racing has the option of having disaster assistance. A disaster loan will kick in when funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) does not fully cover all of the damage that occurred. Disaster assistance loans can help restore all of the real estate, such as the office and the shop, along with the inventory that may have been damaged during the natural disaster as well, such as the new car bodies that are in the process of being built. Now, for Sardeson Racing to properly apply for disaster assistance, there is a few short steps that need to be taken. To start, Sardeson Racing, Inc. would need to be located within an area that was stated by a disaster declaration. If it was, then Sardeson Racing would need to then apply for the loans to help assist with the damage that may have occurred throughout the duration of the natural disaster. Sardeson Racing could then check the status of their loan through an online account that would be formed. Of course, this is a hypothetical situation, as Sardeson Racing, Inc. has never been affected by a natural disaster. But, with the area that the company is located in and all of the natural disasters that occur there, I thought that is was a great program to
