Senior Capstone Proposal
Senior Capstone Project Proposal Name: Jessica Melendez Grade: 12th Grade
Teacher: Ms. K. Thorpe. School:
Beginning Date: Estimated Ending Date: April Poverty is seen throughout the world, different places, different countries and different race.
Poverty has had a negative impact on various people because of the fact that they can't achieve nor have what others in an upper level do. People living under poverty aren't able to give themselves and family what is needed to survive such as food, clothes, water and housing. Many parents along with their children, children alone or adults alone are living in the streets, some for about their whole life and some for a while but all go through the same danger and consequences streets bring. People aren't born straight to poverty, it takes them to either lose a job, being kicked out of their home or coming from a family that couldn't support them to lead them into poverty. There has been many people, children more that live in the streets and death is seen to come closer to them because they don't have support nor things that help them be healthy.
Poverty is seen in some places of Central America such as Mexico, where many children are living in the streets due to being raise alone or running away from their home causing them to have health issues and having a greater chance of dying. The core question that will be answered through this project will be:
● How does poverty affect Mexico as a country?
○ Why is poverty affecting many innocent children?
○ What impact does poverty have on children's health?
○ Why does poverty occur?
These four questions are going to cover the issues that poverty has on children as well as a country and how it affects them. The argument that would be discussed within this research paper will be as research says 45.5 percent of Mexicans are living through poverty and because of this the government should help those in this crisis because it is affecting children

The loss of multiple incomes, legal fees, and extra unaccounted for cost all play a factor in people resulting to the streets. Breakups due to verbal and domestic violence are also another factor that contribute to people living on the streets. People leaving their significant other and separating their lives can be a life-altering situation.
