Sga Strengths And Weaknesses
Every leader has their own strengths and weaknesses which is a reason that I believe SGA works really well. By combining all these strengths and weaknesses, we make an amazing team that works really well together and have accomplished so much. Throughout my two years of being apart of SGA, I have improved my qualities and skills of a leader; I’ve also learned many ways of becoming a better leader for the school. I definitely have the commitment and the motivation to do SGA again because SGA is a huge part of my life with the amazing people I’ve met and the events we’ve done to help so many people. I think it’s really inspiring to be apart of this club to get to help people while enjoying doing so. I’m very easygoing and I communicate well with the people that I work with such as the CO group that I’m currently in. We’ve been working so hard as a team that we’ve done so many successful events with just our committee. Our creativity grows as we continue to plan our events. I’m very excited to think of new events for the next year! I’m also very positive when it comes to many new things as well. There are also skills that I continue to improve myself on everyday such as my communication with more of the SGA members and the confidence to put myself on …show more content…
I’ve been waiting for this moment to come, but I’m also very sad that it’ll be my last year being in SGA. I’m going to promise myself that I’m going to make it the best year that I would never forget. I’m doing well this year between my classes and SGA; I’ve had no problems that made me miss anything major. I’m taking 5 APs next year which is two more than I’m doing this year, but I believe that I can manage it while doing SGA. Many seniors this year are balancing SGA and their classes really well, so my motivation is there to do that. I have no problems with my time commitment because SGA is a very important priority of mine and I try to be at every event

December 13th 2014 was one of the best days in my life. I still recall seeing my son and family in the stands as the president of the university mentioned for the family of the graduates to stand up and be recognized. I worked so hard that year and I was able to reach my goal and I am extremely proud of myself for that. As you can see in my transcript the last year I obtained above a 3.0 GPA in every semester. I am confident that if accepted I will work hard and do everything in my power to excel to the best of my abilities. My plan to raise my GPA is to organize myself and set time every day to study and go over class material. I understand that the graduate program is more difficult but I am determined to apply myself and get the grades needed to be successful. I look forward to learning a lot more in detail about my career field. I have a great desire to help people with disabilities explore their needs, manage their symptoms, and successfully live their lives. It is important to focus on a person’s capability rather than their disability. For this reason, I hold a special connection with this program and immense passion in raising public awareness about…

During my freshman year of high school, I didn’t even know what the Student Government was. I had no idea that, three years later I would be elected as the first one year SGA President (this means I was only in SGA for one year before becoming president, previous presidents have had two years of experience). I started off high school lost and afraid of the world in front of me. Like many students, I struggled to keep myself together mentally and physically. I didn’t really know what I liked or what really interested me. It wasn’t until my junior year that I found something that I connected with. I’ve always been in love with my school and its spirit. Every year I would go all out for spirit week, and I was that one kid that stood out from everyone…

In the classics, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Picture of Dorian Gray, the quest for perfectionism in the main characters leads to their downfall. Robert Louis Stevenson’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde narrates the mystery of an evil man and a man in seclusion. On the contrary, The Picture of Dorian Gray details the story of a cryptic painting and the damage it brings to the community. Both of these novels explore the quest for perfectionism: albeit through science in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, or social standing in The Picture of Dorian Gray.…

The short story, written by John Steinbeck, called “The Chrysanthemums” demonstrates an interesting theme of great magnitude. The main focus of this short story is based around the isolation and dissatisfaction of Elisa Allen’s life. From the beginning, the main character Elisa is alone. While her husband is having a business conversation with some men dressed in suits and smoking cigarettes, she is tending to her garden of chrysanthemums. Not only she is alone physically, she is also afflicted by both emotional and sexual distress. Eventually that sense of loneliness leads to the discontent of her life, until a scruffy, middle-aged man appears in a worn out caravan being pulled by a horse and a small donkey, known as a burro.…
