Social media has made it so that it is easy to contact your friends at any time, talk to anyone, anywhere, but it has also made it so that we spend too much time on it. Many people now just sit on their phone or skype and talk to friends virtually, and while you are still communicating with your friends, the experience of going out and doing something is lost.
