Tame those biting shoes! | Juhi Dua | With Christmas and New Year celebrations just around the corner, it’s time to look great in your new clothes, wear your new party shoes and celebrate. But wait a minute? Have you prepared to wear you new shoes? Yes! You do need to prepare to break into your new shoes to avoid getting a shoe bite. The last thing you want to be doing during those lavish parties is to nurse your aching feet and deal with ugly scars that take ages to fade. So, take these simple precautions to avoid getting shoe bites:The soap suds trick
To break into your shoes comfortably, fill your new shoes with soap suds, drain them after a while and then leave the shoes out to dry. Wear them when they have completely dried and your feet will not suffer.Petroleum Jelly magic
To soften your shoes from inside, apply little petroleum jelly on the inside of the new shoes before wearing them. Keep the jelly overnight and wipe off in the morning before wearing the shoes. This helps tremendously in preventing shoe bites and thus also saves your feet from those ugly scars.Oil oil baby
If the inside material of your shoes is very hard, it might need some more work. To tackle this, you can apply coconut oil or castor oil on the insides of the new shoes, at least three nights before wearing them. This makes the inside of the footwear soft which in turn prevents shoe bites caused by the new and rough surface of the shoes. In spite of the given tricks, if you do manage to get a shoe bite, or if you already have one, you must attend to it immediately to avoid getting a large and a painful scar. Here are some natural home remedies you could safely try:Camphor and coconut oil
