HR Function has evolved from a traditional people management foyer to a value added consulting service provider that accelerates improvement and development in all facets of operations. In order to fully capsize functionality of HR in organizational structure, HR capabilities should be aligned with organizational strategies designed to achieve set targets. This requires introducing meticulous changes in current HR Policies and revamping the structure and procedures to reinstate the roles and responsibilities of HR function to emerge from being compliance and administrative focussed to a decisive role that fosters partnership with Management team/Executive council. Once HR Policies are established it will be critical to measure, monitor and report progress for a continual success.
HR department is backbone of an organization that supports its development by performing various functions which is crucial for its success.

Organizational Development: It is important to design an effective hierarchical system symmetrical to organizational strategies. This framework is essential to construe funnel of responsibility for a strategic distribution of roles/responsibilities for an effective operation of business entity. HR is responsible to initiate robust procedures/techniques that coincide with changing needs of the organization for its overall effectiveness. Organizational development is relevant since it provides analysis of strategy, structure and culture of the organization wherein HR acts as a catalyst to resolve issues affected by change by improving its capabilities and offering innovative solutions. Recruitment and Selection: In order to attract and retain quality talent pool, it is imminent to design an effective recruitment process which is highly competitive, simple, quick and cost effective.
