Almost all of the kids don’t use a lot of things that they learn in school. For example in my family my parents or anyone for that matter almost uses no algebra. Yet they spent years of their lives learning how to do it. Then with all that wasted time there is tons of things my parents didn’t learn. For example most schools don’t even have to do taxes. People need to do taxes every month and they don’t teach them it? Hope that calculus is coming handy now. They don’t teach how to get a mortgage either. So i’ll be homeless but at least I know how to put 1/5y - 3x = -37 into standard form. Schools sometimes don’t even teach first aid. Surely we can search up whatever we want to know. Then my question to everyone is why do we have school in the first place then? If I can search up how to do calculus then why do I need school to tell me. School usually ends up teaching kids better than the internet can. School is way more interactive then the internet can be. Students get taught by trained professionals that deal with kids. Not to mention not everyone has easy access to the internet. What if I have no home and I can’t get any money because school decided to waste my time and I don’t know how to do the skills I need to get a decent job. Well now I can’t do anything about it. So really if the internet is the answer then how about we just get rid of school
