Should Child Soldiers be prosecuted?

Why are child soldiers forced to do things they aren’t supposed to do? These children are putting themselves at risk in the future but it’s not entirely their fault. Have you ever felt the guilt and pain they were going through during this time? Children are taken from anywhere (innocent children) taken from their families, and are turned into fighters but different armies.Because of this people are trying to prosecute these children. Child soldiers should not be prosecuted.
Child soldiers should not be prosecuted because it was not even their fault for all the terrible stuff they did. According to the Newsela article on childhood soldiers, these children were brainwashed with drugs and alcohol by the military and made the children kill innocent families. These are scared that they will get killed if they do something wrong. They kill families for their food and drugs in their homes and everytime they go to one home, they come out with a child and use the army against their will and make them kill families they don't want to kill and make children feel the same way when their own parents were killed right in front of them. When children refuse to cooperate, they get kill because they are not doing what they have to do so they are useless to the army. …show more content…
