College is a place to start your own future and to be finally out of mom and dad's house and not to be paid for playing a sport. Some people think that college football players should be paid. But others say they shouldn’t be paid because if you get money to go to that school you don't need anymore money for your college career. College football players shouldn't get paid because players receive scholarships for tuition, colleges are lacking in money, and college is not the NFL.

McCauley notes “While I respect the time, work, and excitement college athletics brings to the world of sports, they should not be paid”(McCauley paragraph.5). Even though these games are cool to watch it doesn't mean the players should be paid.
