An article called “Should parents pay for good grades?” states:”Many teachers also paying students for grades leads to partial problems in their classroom, including pressure to inflate grades and conflict with the students and parents.”-NEA article claims” This leads to teachers being stressed out over arguments with parents saying their kid deserves more money because the student has a “good enough” grade. Teachers also have stress over making decisions about inflating grades, because they’re scared they’ll get a lot of complaints.The effect of this is parents may also take away their children’s money, which can lead to a lot of strifes.Bullying is also a problem because children can brag about how much money they got to prove they’re smarter than other kids which can let kids down and think they’re not smart enough to earn more money. When considering the choice of paying students for satisfying grades, the choice should definitely be not paying them for satisfying grades. Students will lose their natural motivation. Students will rely on what amount of accolades is given to them instead of personal satisfaction. Strifes can overwhelm the teachers. The reasons above mean that education will change and so will students, accolades will be more of a goal than grades, and strife will go all around the
