Should Rescuers Be Removed?
Imagine, the cold peak Mount Everest, you’re climbing the peak, you then step in the wrong place or slip and you are either stuck or falling to your death. Wouldn’t you want to be saved? There is an argument based on whether someone should be rescued and or saved if they put themselves in a dangerous situation. People who place themselves in dangerous situations such as climbing a dangerous peak like Mount Everest's should be rescued. Because the rescuers have trained to save people in bad situations, there is more people attempting to climb Mount Everest, and they are inventing safer ways to save people on a peak or in another situation. To begin with, the rescuers are trained in this profession and know the full risks of rescuing

Because they are doing an irresponsible act and they are putting rescuers lives in danger as well as their own and just want fame. In the article, “Ranger Killed During Rescue of Climbers on Mount Rainier” by the Seattle Times states, “As Hall, 34, was preparing some climbers for helicopter evacuation at 4:59 pm., he fell down the mountains northeast side from the 13,700-footlevel.” This does show that the rescuer risked his life and died while saving someone else's. Although, he did die, he loved his profession and trained in it and knew something like that would happen.That’s why people need to be saved if they put themselves in danger. In the same article his family states, “It is grieving and celebrating his life.” This shows that although he died he died saving someone's life which is what rescuers have signed up for and what their job is all about. In the article, “Why Everest?” by Guy Moreau it explains, “The risks are part of the attention.” This shows that most people climbing the dangerous peak Mount Everest get sucked into the attention of climbing the peak cause the risks are high, even if they didn’t want attention in the first place.
