Teachers should be able to pick books for the class to read because they will get books that students can improve off of. If teachers choose a books that are one grade level above their reading level or chapter books instead of picture books …show more content…
it will let them learn new words. So if teachers choose a book that their student can improve their vocabulary during the reading of the book, it’s because they have a book that is a whole level above their usual reading level. Also, if teachers choose books students could improve off of they could also increase their reading level or reading fluency do with the higher grade level of that book. If teachers choose books that students could improve of off then they could improve in so many different areas of their fluency and vocabulary.
Another reason is so that they can choose books that are appropriate for their students to read, so it will cause no interruptions.
If teachers choose books that are appropriate for students then their wouldn’t be any interruptions while their reading that book. If the books are not appropriate, then the teacher would be interrupted when they are reading. If the books are appropriate, then kids will not use bad words, but if they have them then they will. If there inappropriate then kids start cursing ad we don’t want kids to curse because that will get them in trouble.
Lastly, the can choose books that might have an effect on our lives as children or for when we grow up as adults. If they choose a books that have a lesson, then kids will get a life lesson. If they get a lesson, then they will grow up and not do the opposite of that lesson. If teachers choose books that might talk about profession than students might get a profession idea. If students get a profession idea then they can focus on that profession.
Those three reasons show why teachers should pick books. I hope that some of those reasons show why teachers should pick books instead of
students.
