Should We Serve In The Military
We as Americans should make a rule to serve at least two or three years in the US military to show our love, dedication, and trust to the land and soil we live on. I believe that we are all equal, and we should all have the same rights but at the same time I believe that everybody that lives on US soil should all serve a couple years to all be equal and have the same rights. If every person served in the US Military we would not be having some of the problems that the news is putting out today. For example, when the news put pictures out of US citizens disrespecting, and stepping on the American Flag! Personally I believe those people need to be kicked out of this country, the rule should be if you disrespect this country then get out.
Again if everybody served they would learn to respect and love the flag or what it represents. We have shoulders in Afghanistan dying for our freedom and our rights and we as sorry Americans repay them by not doing anything to recompense their sacrifice. We have citizens living off welfare, and getting everything handed to them. For what you may say? One of the reasons that this is caused by may be because in my opinion they act in a lazy way that shows no effort. Last but not least there is actually only one way that we could get these so called “lazy” individuals to work for what they get; make them enroll in the army! So that with this they could see for themselves how bad and gruesome the conditions that our soldiers face from day to day out at war in Afghanistan. These people take their freedom and rights for granted and never actually realize how many lives can be spent for them to be able to have their relaxation on a daily basis. When you join the military you can and will obtain good traits such as respect towards the people who surround you and yourself, loyalty to your fellow soldiers, trust, honor, and many more with these. You’ll also get to know what it feels like to have you friends as a family because you have you brothers in arms fighting next to you every step of the way. With all of this the point that I intend to get across is that to live in the land of the free and expect to be treated equally we should all serve for equality. No individual should have more privileges or rights than a US solider. So therefore we should all serve.
