If a woman happens to get pregnant while on a combat tour, she will no longer be wanted or needed in the group ( “Women in Combat Pros and Cons” 2). Even women who already have kids are not as helpful to the unit because that makes the men have to worry even more about her staying alive.In human nature, women and men are initially attracted to each other, so with that comes the formation of couples. With all couples around the world, there are problems in the relationship. However if a couple is in a combat unit, the problems that they are having would have to be set aside for the sake of the unit itself. These problems can cause major tensions and jealousy that would either make or break the unit. The Marine Corps is highly against women being in combat roles as statistics show. The Marines did a test of 100 women and 300 men to test their physical abilities and strengths. The group shot at targets, dug holes, and practiced pulling the wounded soldiers to safety. At the end of the test, the results showed that the all men units outperformed the all women or mixed gender units (Bowman 1). This test proves that there are very many physical differences between men and
