Should Women Be Allowed In War Research Paper

Have you ever seen or heard a girl being judged or underestimated by other people, especially boys? Girls should be able to wear anything they want without being judged by others. Boys always think that they are so much better than girls are when it comes to sports. Back in the day women couldn’t be in the war because men always thought that it’s to tough or its only a man’s job. There isn’t any doubt in any girl’s mind that boys need to stop mistreating us in wrong ways.

Girls should be able to wear anything they want without being judged by others. A girl that I know gets judged because of the clothes she wears, she wears mostly fancy clothing while others wear sweatpants. The Washington Post states that “women are always being pitted against
each other wherever we look.” Two people said that some men that interview women for jobs only give them the job based on their looks. Also more attractive women earn more money when it comes to jobs. This proves that most of the women in the world can’t wear whatever they want without being judged.

Boys always think that they are so much better than girls are when it comes to sports. In one of my favorite movies “League of Their Own”, women play baseball but all of the newspaper people think that it's a joke for girls to play baseball. A couple years ago, girls weren’t allowed in the Olympics, so they held a whole different competition called the “Games of Hera.” Mother Jones- Charts: The State of Women’s Athletics, 40 Years After Title IX states,“But girl’s opportunities haven’t reached the level that boys were at back when Title IX was passed, and high schools today provide 1.3 million fewer chances for girls to play sports.” This proves that boys always talk bad about girls when it comes to sports.

Back in the day women couldn’t be in the war because men always thought that it’s to tough or its only a man’s job.
In the olden days girls were never allowed at war, they stayed in the house worrying about the husbands and if they were okay. In 1775-1783, women were allowed to follow their husbands to war but they weren’t allowed to fight. They were only allowed to be cooks, laundresses, and nurses, but only if the general said they could. Four women tried to get into war but got discovered and got discharged that’s how strict they weren’t letting women be soldiers. This proves that women were and still are a little bit underestimated when it came to the war and protecting our
country.

On the other hand, you could argue that, girls now have the ability to go to war, they don’t have to stay home and do house chores. For the Olympics, ice skating, tennis, volleyball, and gymnastics are some of the sports that girls got to do. But a lot of girls still get judged and we can’t help that. The Olympic games only started in the 1900s, 14 years after the men started to do it. But the past already happened and we can’t fix it, so the government will just have to live with all of the disownment they did.

There is a lot of evidence that proves that girls are mistreated a lot when it comes to physical features and daily lives.
When girls are wearing a certain type of clothing, most of them get judged for wearing it. Girls are never treated the same way when the conversations are about sports. In most of the war movies that are in black and white, you never see any women in them, and now you know the reason. If women don’t start being treated with the right respect, a war may happen between the men and women around the world. What are you going to about this subject?
