Baseball and Football 101 would be this teacher’s dream class. It is none other than a former student at Amory High School, Coach Trey Spencer. He is glad to be back in his hometown to be able to coach football and baseball. Being able to build relationships and seeing the success in young men is Coach Spencer’s favorite part of coaching the linebackers. When asked what his goals were for the football team, Coach Spencer replied, “To win the state championship.” Coach Spencer was a former teacher at the Hamilton Attendance Center and Quitman High School that is south of Meridian.
