If the rivets had been steel i could have stopped the water from flooding in five compartments and the Titanic would have slowed sinking with enough time for the Carpathia to get there and help. When you think about the Titanic you’d think that it wouldn't just be the rivets right? Well, many people made mistakes too. Like Philip who told the Californa to leave him alone when they were the closest ship only two hours away when they turned of their wireless because of that it would have been easy for them to help when the Titanic had the collision. He also ignored a note to the captain that had no MSG on it saying there was a huge iceberg that went offcourse. There was also an officer named Blair who was asked to leave the ship, accidentally he took the key to the locker which held the binoculars. If Blair had not taken the key the lookout would have more than likely seen the iceberg that sunk the Titanic with enough time to move out of the way. The captain was also in the wrong place at the wrong time when Philip got an important MSG from another ship that the iceberg was dead ahead of them. There were definitely not enough lifeboats on the Titanic especially with thousands of people on the ship thought to be unsinkable. The usage of the lifeboats were also bad with being able to carry 64 and only 28 were
