Situation Analysis Go Pro is an American technology company founded in 2002 by Nick Woodman, the company is specialized in action cameras as well as development of its own mobile application; furthermore, Go Pro is celebrated as the creator of the world’s most flexible, multi-tasking or versatile camera. (Go Pro, 2017). Nick Woodman is both the founder and the CEO of Go Pro since 2002 until today in 2017. Moreover, Go Pro is the market leader worldwide. The product that the marketing plan is based on is Go Pro Hero 5 Black. The Hero 5 Black is described by the Go Pro company as their best product they have ever created. (Go Pro, 2017). The threat of substitutes means that any company in markets which the competition is low faces the threat of substitute, as when a substitute product is available the original company will have to improve its own product in various aspects. The second marketing strategy used is the differentiation from the competitive strategies, by which a company chooses unique features in its product that is essential for most of its customers and stress on those features during marketing campaigns. The international product strategy used in this report is the creation strategy by which, the company creates a new product or improve the existing one in order to enter and export to the international market.
