Physical health: The characteristics of physical health can include a few things but being at a good weight that is proportionate to their height is a good characteristic. Having some type of cardio is always a good activity to pursue in maintaining this. Physical health is most definitely in my daily routine I am always getting my heart rate up and trying to eat the right things to be sure I stay healthy.

Social health: The characteristics of social health are just physically being able to communicate with others and have some type of relationship such as a friendship or acquaintance. Not being shy and knowing how to communicate is a good way to have good social health, and to always not to judge someone. Social health comes very easy to me because I am not a shy person and I feel as if I am able to talk to anyone!

Intellectual health: The characteristics of intellectual health stand out to me as someone who just has a bit of common sense about things. You should know common sense things by paying attention to your elders as growing up verses learning them in a school setting. Intellectual health does not seem to come to everyone because I have a lot of common sense and then I look at my sister and she does not really have any common sense.

Environmental health: The characteristics of environmental health are having respect for your world and to try in what other words means “go green”. Having environmental health for the world is a good thing because it saves you as well. When you are not polluting the air you are saving the world which includes the people around you. I am not much of a go green person but I try

According to Harper, he defines physical wellness as the ability to perform daily activities in a safe, capable, and efficient manner, as well as the physical capacity to respond effectively in unusual situations (2008). Harper further mentions that there are five components of physical wellness, such as cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility. One way of getting started into a goal of being physically well is to check your Body Mass Index (BMI), hip to waist circumference, and partaking in…
