Six Dimensions of Health Worksheet
Part 1
For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions.
Physical health: The characteristics of physical health can include a few things but being at a good weight that is proportionate to their height is a good characteristic. Having some type of cardio is always a good activity to pursue in maintaining this. Physical health is most definitely in my daily routine I am always getting my heart rate up and trying to eat the right things to be sure I stay healthy.
Social health: The characteristics of social health are just physically being able to communicate with others and have some type of relationship such as a friendship or acquaintance. Not being shy and knowing how to communicate is a good way to have good social health, and to always not to judge someone. Social health comes very easy to me because I am not a shy person and I feel as if I am able to talk to anyone!
Intellectual health: The characteristics of intellectual health stand out to me as someone who just has a bit of common sense about things. You should know common sense things by paying attention to your elders as growing up verses learning them in a school setting. Intellectual health does not seem to come to everyone because I have a lot of common sense and then I look at my sister and she does not really have any common sense.
Environmental health: The characteristics of environmental health are having respect for your world and to try in what other words means “go green”. Having environmental health for the world is a good thing because it saves you as well. When you are not polluting the air you are saving the world which includes the people around you. I am not much of a go green person but I try
