Smith’s folklore plays. I wrote a book called Harry Plopper and the Porkerer’s Stone, and my book was lucky enough to be chosen to be turned into a play. With the blood, sweat, and tears shed as we were binding our books, it felt great to finally get down to the auditorium and practice our plays! Our class learned how to project our voices, be funny and comical onstage, and we had a blast doing it. My friend and I were also chosen to be the emcees for the night, which involved a whole lot of practicing. On the night of the plays, our class did an amazing job and entertained the whole crowd. The folklore plays certainly were an experience that I will remember for a long time! Middle school was a huge transition at the beginning of the year. Although it was tough at first, I had friends, teachers, and a caring environment at school to support me on this educational thrill ride. I am grateful for everything I’ve learned throughout my sixth grade
