Snowy Evening Tone

In every story or tale, the writer wants the reader to understand the feelings of what is being stated. The tone in every written piece of literature has a certain idea to provide a deeper meaning. In some cases, the author uses ideas, such as foreshadowing and similes to provide extra entertainment for the reader, but mostly the author uses a specific tone. Tone projects a more enticing, edgy work of literature to include the reader in the story’s action. In “Stopping in the Woods on a Snowy Evening,” the author, Robert Frost coveys the tone to be placid and soothing by using elements such as imagery, the theme of isolation in nature is relaxing, as well as setting.
