Soccer Ball The darkness is extremely overwhelming. I have been sitting in this bag for far too long. I can feel myself deflating. Suddenly, my gloomy home began to move, and a bright beautiful light from the sun appears above me. The rough big hands picked me up and placed me on the soft grass. I can feel the warmth of the bright sun on me. All the thoughts running through my head about what is going to be my task this time. I am prepare to make my owner a better player by the end of the task ahead. Just then I am kicked to the middle of the field where my task will begin. My owner starts dribbling me down the field towards the big white goal. Hopefully, the shot my owner makes

Narrative Reflective Essay Early in the fall season of 2010 I stepped out onto that Catoosa soccer field hyped up on sugar and adrenaline, not knowing that that would be the last time I would ever step foot on any field again. During my seasons of soccer, whether that had been spent on a girls or boys team, I had always been a filler player meaning I could fill any position needed from goalie to forward. It wasn't until my final season that I had found my niche on the soccer field, I had become my team's defensive mid fielder. I had been able to play full games in this position, not having to worry about being pulled back for what ever reason.…

For this first assignment, I chose to focus my outline on the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). I have a real passion for the sport of soccer and I also used to play this sport when I was little throughout my childhood. I feel that the sport of soccer is still growing here in the United States. I feel that the United States Soccer Federation as a whole has done a great job of implementing and competing with other sports in America. The reason for the increasing popularity of the sport in this country is the overall team aspect and limited physicality. Also, the barriers for entry into the sport are pretty low compared to other. Not much a participant needs other than a pair of cleats and a ball. Now, the USSF’s website does a good…

Soccer started in December 1863 in Britain and they used to call "Football". Many people would ask that when the first soccer match was and who was the organization and who invented the game of soccer. There are many arguments that some people saying that soccer starts at England and some saying China was the country where soccer was started. In my opinion, I was always believing that soccer did start in England but after my research, I found out that actually China and Japan are the first countries where they played with the ball and from there get the idea. According to todayIfound.com. "The earliest known record of a Soccer-like sport was in 1004 B.C. in Japan. There are also many references to Soccer-like sports in 50 B.C. China, even being played between teams from China and Japan. The Romans also played several types of Football games, including some that resembled Soccer". But I still saying that soccer was invested in England because when China and Japan start soccer was totally different Idea than the real soccer game. I agree that they are the first who start to kick the…

Many people may think that soccer is just a sport, but to me it means much more. I believe in the feeling I get when I dribble down the pitch, juke out a defender, and score the winning goal. It is such a rush to race down the pitch and send an amazing through pass to your teammate who scores the goal. Soccer has taught me many life lessons such as to always try your best, exercise is important, and to be respectful to everyone you play with or against.…

My soccer career started as soon as I could walk, but somehow I still wasn’t very good at it at the age of 13. You'd assume ten years of practice and a sister who'd been the mvp of her high school team would have rubbed off on me, but that wasn’t the case. That is to say, I wasn't absolutely pitiful. I was pretty quick, and I could get a good foot on the ball about four times out of ten.…

A sudden coldness hit my face, as I carefully descended down the stairs of the store. The city of New York awaited me, like a painting drawn by the very hands of nature. The clouds glimmered as the sun hid behind the tall buildings. The Empire State Building stood majestically among the buildings, it’s point shone the brightest. From above, a pile of snow landed on my head, breaking the spell of the glamorous lights before my eyes. The next second, pain slashed through my arm, as the very heavy garbage bag dug into my skin, reminding my original objective, which was taking out the trash. I stepped down the last stair and into the white fluffy blanket that laid across the land.…

I was in 3rd grade and we were playing a game of soccer because we were in our soccer unit on thursday in the gym Ruby, one of my friends was kicking the ball down the gym floor, there was a big group near her, and I went to kick the ball from her to one of my teammates when I went and accidentally kicked her foot instead!! I was in so much pain I held my ankle gritting my teeth, “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” My head screamed, apparently her foot got hurt enough to the point because she told mr. salty (saltzgaber) and he said she was fine, the other team had scored the goal while me and ruby were just standing because both of our feet hurt but at least she could walk on her foot, then our soccer game was done it was time to go back to class.…
