Abstract
Social Media is important today and the future it will only get better. In this paper, you will learn what social media networks I find most influential on my personal choices and why, how social media is a reliable tool when promoting public policy, and how social media will play on consumer behavior in the future.
Social Marketing Impact Analysis Social media is extremely important in today’s society. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “Social Media is any form of electronic communication in which uses create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (such as videos).” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary, online, 1). In this paper, I will discuss how social media has impacted me as a consumer and types of social media that influence me, why social media is so important, and social media within public policy and how social media will play in the future. Social Media has impacted me a lot. I hardly have time to watch television or read a newspaper. In my life, I see everything electronically, the types of Social Media that influence me the most is from the newspaper online with people typing in their comments, Facebook (FB), and YouTube. For example, the other day I was on FB and saw that someone bought the new Windex Touch-Up Cleaner. I asked my friend if it was a great product. I bought it to try it out; it was a little over $3.00. I love it. It will touch-up anything fast. I ended up getting back with her and told her how great it was and thanked her. To a Producer, social media important to the consumer. Social Media is very important because the information is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. To post something to FB or Twitter, the information is sent instantly making it timely. It’s efficient because aren’t spending any money, it’s quick, and we can do it from anywhere. But social Media isn’t just about buying
